Today marked the last day of the first season for Fast Pitch Hawaii Softball League. There is no way to describe the great gameplay of this season in a few short words. Remarkable is merely one piece to describe it. Today's games had been delayed several times due to bad weather, and the ladies showed up to play their final game with every bit as much intensity as they did their first game. The level of competition and the sportsmanship of the ladies from this league truly shows just how sports are supposed to be played. Todays first game was to determine the 3rd place team in this seasons rankings, and No Xcuse took home that title. The final game was played for the sake of playing the game. And after all, isn't that what it's all about really? There was never a softball sunday this season in which the ladies of Fast Pitch Hawaii didn't please the fans, the photographer, family, teammates, and friends with their talents on the field and their respect off of it. Congratulations on a fantastic first season ladies. The fans, families, and myself, cannot wait for season 2 to begin.
