Two goals by Lindsey Poulsen got the Vulcans going while Kristine Pasek sealed the deal at the 80-minute mark to give the University of Hawaii at Hilo a 3-2 Pacific West Conference double-overtime win over Dominican University in San Rafael, Calif.
 
The Vulcans improve to 4-8-2 overall and 2-6-2 in the PacWest while the Penguins are 3-12-1 overall and 1-8-1 in the PacWest.

“It was a great win,” said UHH Head Coach Marc Miranda. “Our team effort was spot on. Even if we're not in the conference race, our girls are determined to finish the season well.”
 
Minutes into the game, Poulsen got the Vulcans on the board.
 
“Lindsay got around the outside back and put up a nice shot from the 90 and we just followed through from there,” said Miranda. “It's one of the few times we started fast and it's a great change.”
 
Pasek got her goal off of Chelsea Gomez's corner kick.
 
Gomez had two assists in the match while Pasek picked up one.
