
STANFORD, Calif. – University of Hawai'i women's golfer Ka'ili Britos is tied for 27th place after round one of the Peg Barnard Invitational. Britos shot a first round 7-over 78, which included a birdie on the par-5 16th.
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine were sophomore Liana Otake (82/t45th), seniors Erika Lundberg (88/t66th) and Megan Inouye (88/t66th), and sophomore Madeleine Ystrom (89/69th)
California leads the tournament after an 11-over 295, while Fresno State, host Stanford, Washington and San Jose State (22-over 306) round out the top five. Christine Uhalde of Fresno State was the only player in the field to shoot under-par and leads the tournament at 1-under.
The final round will begin tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Live stats will be available at golfstat.com.
