Morihiro surprises
Led by Erika Morihiro, the University of Hawaii at Hilo is in third place at the 4thAnnual Dennis Rose Invitational on the Waikoloa Beach Course.

The freshman turned in rounds of 75 and 71 for a 6-over-146 on the 5,924-yard, par-70 course and is tied for 6th place.

[second round]

Dayna Bersamin (72-77) and Nyssa Aoki (74-75) are tied in 11th place at 9-over, 149. Kristen Sawada (74-77, 151) is tied for 15th place while Kacie Harada (78-78, 156) is tied for 25th place.

Grand Canyon  University leads the team challenge with at 584 followed by Cal State Monterey Bay (587), Hawaii Hilo (595), Sonoma State (604), Academy of Art (610), Cal State East Bay (612), St. Martin's (631), Redlands (644) and Montana State Billings (651).

CSUMB's Courtney Soekland (68-73) and Grand Canyon's Charlotte Jaengkit (70-71) shared the lead at 1-over, 141.
